New Rings for November

I finally got a jeweler's workbench! I'm waiting to heal from my surgery and for the  hubby to put it together but I'm truly excited to see my dreams come to life! I've been slowly making rings too keep my hands loose and practice getting them near perfect. Check out my pics. Working on posting a few on Etsy and eBay.

The ones i made so far are only for practice and I'm not satisfied with the quality to sell those online but if you like them please let me know and i will gladly duplicate the design. I'm bad at judging my own work too harshly and something i may view as a bad piece because if a mark or imperfection could be a favorite by someone else. But all of my work is handmade so it won't be the same each time, which is what makes it unique.

Manic Monday! Blog posts an randomness

Preparing for my surgery on Thursday, it's raining in ATL so it's making it hard to get any house work or jewelry done! It's already dinner time if you're not stuck in traffic lol.
Any way here is a quick pic of my ring set up away from my work station.
I'm looking to purchase a jeweler's bench in the next few weeks! I'm so excited because it's going to be so much easier to push out all of these ideas i have! I'm so happy to finally begin this journey and share it with you all. I can't wait until I'm completely healed so that i can consistently have items in stock for viewing.

New Jewelry Updates and Why I've Been Missing in Action!

Lately I've been going through a lot dealing with health issues. I developed carpal tunnel in 2014 and had to have surgery on my wrist and elbow and it stopped me from creating jewelry and put me out of work. I was unable to make jewelry for a long time.

After treating the Carpal Tunneland still having complications I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. I was born with an extra rib and I ended up having to have a ribs removed in September of 2015 and I I'm just now getting back into the groove of making jewelry again.

BUT

As November approaches, I am scheduled to have to have ribs removed on the 5th on my left side.keep me in your prayers!

I did heal enough to make a couple of pieces so I wanted to share them with you and in the meantime I will be updating my blog with any pieces that I have made in 2014 and 2015, and I look forward to sharing with you the pieces that I will make in the future.

-------->> I will start to update my blog more and more and I look forward to showing you how much my craft has evolved into a beautiful gift from god. I'm learning so techniques and strategies it's amazing. over this small period of time I'm telling you nothing is going to stop me I'm so excited too have my hands back! Well almost!...

Stay tuned, hugs and Eskimo kisses!
Yours truly
Chas

Crochet Chic!

Here are just a few pics of some pieces I have made in the last year. I love to crochet. It's something therapeutic about it. I have a passion for creating accessories, mostly hats, scarves, and being that I am a coffee connoisseur I love making the coffee mug cozies. I do enjoy using patterns but as I have progressed I have found it easier and more exciting to freestyle a lot of my creations. I am also learning how to write my own patterns, which I'll post and hopefully you all can create some wonderful pieces. I enjoy making my items as gifts for family and friends. You can also let me know if you like a custom piece I would love to adorn the world with my handmade creations. Please visit my Etsy shop also, I will be posting more listings for you all to purchase. Have a wonderful Super Bowl Sunday for all you sports fans! My Falcons are out so I'll be watching for fun.
